So yesterday I finished the seventh book in the Dresden Files series, "Dead Beat," and BOY was it amazing. I swear, each book in this series keeps getting better, but right now I think the sixth book, "Blood Rites," is my favorite of the series thus far, followed by book number 4, Summer Knight. So I've had this office here at work for over a year now, but the walls and desk have been barren. I've lately felt the need, however, to decorate the thing and spruce it up a little, so I've printed out some pictures of Kelly and I and gotten 'em framed on my desk. Last week I ordered all of the Dresden books I don't already own, basically books 2-8, and they arrived today! YAY! Now I got 4 more books to read before I'm fully caught up and impatiently waiting for book nine, which is due out in April (and already pre-ordered). ;) Today is a shiny day indeed, and I hope it is for you as well. :)

Since I can't think of one specific topic to write about, I'll quickly touch upon a few...

• The Dresden Files TV show was better and more enjoyable after a second viewing. After also listening to Jim Butcher's (the author of the Dresden Files books) comments and excitement about the show on the Butcher Block podcast, I overall have a more positive ( Read more... )
